Monsoon doesn't stop travel, but it changes it. Landslides close sections of the Prithvi and Siddhartha highways most weeks, and we adjust departures daily.
How we plan
Every driver checks the road status group at five in the morning. If a section is blocked we tell you before you've had breakfast, and we build in an extra half day for Pokhara and Chitwan bookings.
What you can do
Book morning departures, keep an overnight bag in the cabin rather than the roof, and avoid Mustang or Manang jeep trips in July and August unless you have flexible dates.
